1988  Psychology studies, University of South Africa

1988  Works as a part time bank clerk throughout his student career until 1995

1989  Graphic Design studies, Natal Technikon School of Design

1990  Fine Art studies, Natal Technikon School of Fine Art

1994  Graduates with distinction from Natal Technikon School of Fine Art

1994  South African Youth Arts Festival Merit Award

1994  Volkskas Atelier Merit Award

1994  Emma Smith Overseas Scholarship, Natal Technikon
